The city of Montreal has issued a boil-water advisory for parts of Côte-des-Neiges and Outremont.

Until further notice, residents of the 25,000 affected residences are being told to boil water for at least one minute before consuming it. There is no need to boil the water if it is to be used for bathing, cleaning or other uses, the city said.

The affected area includes homes between Decelles Ave., and Bates and Côte-Sainte-Catherine Rd. The zone is encircled in red on the map below.
